COVID-19 Re-Opening Update
Effective Wednesday November 4 , 2021 Ozwelds Diner will return to table service. We have 30 seats available inside our facility and they are on a first come first serve basis. Reservations will not be taken in advance. Updated hours of operation are available below.
On September 22, 2021 the Ontario Government implemented the Covid Vaccine Passport system for patrons of Restaurants and other 'chosen' businesses. Although this may be discriminatory towards the chosen businesses sectors and unconstitutional to the people of Canada, we are being forced to implement this process by threat of fines and shutdowns. Proof of 2 vaccinations and identification are required for all patrons entering the building. Simply walk up to the counter and provide the information to a staff member and then take any available seat(s).
Our staff will continue to wear face coverings and we will continue to take all the additional precautions that we practices throughout the pandemic including the use of medical grade cleaners performing regular deep clean treatments of our contactable surfaces. Strict health screening and hygienic protocols are being kept in place for our staff and they have been trained on Ozwelds Covid-19 Safety Plan and the proper use of PPE products. Social Safety Practices outside of work are encouraged. Delivery and service personnel are required to sign and wear proper PPE when entering the building.
Deliveries can be arrange as 100% contact-less by utilizing e-Transfer Services, over the phone Credit Card payments or Interac Tap on our portable debit machines. We have partnered with 'On The Dot Deliveries' to assist in our delivery needs and can also be found on Skip the Dishes with a shortened version of the Ozwelds Diner Menu.
Updated Catering Options
Catering options are once again available both on and off site for industrial shut downs, bridal or wedding showers, birthday parties, special family dinners and more. We have access to alternate facilities for larger events and corporate meetings. Due to the continual changes in availability and fluctuation in pricing in the food industry lately, the process generally takes a minimum of 2-4 weeks to develop and cost menu's and get product in for these type of events.
